Occupational Therapist

"As your occupational therapist, I’ll work with you to increase mobility in your hands. This isn’t going to be easy to start, but we will get through it together. Remember don’t be hard on yourself, this process will take time."

The occupational therapist focuses on preventing deformity and increasing independence in daily living and work skills. They help with both the physical and emotional adjustment to residual disfigurement or loss of function. Their goal is to restore the patient to their maximum capability for independent functioning.
