Ren suffered an injury to her calf while working on the farm. While feeding the cows, Ren turned with a large bag of feed in her arms and felt immediate pain in her lower leg. She thought the pain would subside if she iced it for a few days and took ibuprofen, but has experienced increased pain when walking. Ren noted significant bruising and swelling in her calf.
Her work on the farm is extremely physical and requires a lot of walking. Her primary doctor referred her to a specialist. Ren made an appointment with an orthopedist and is scheduled to see them within the week to review imaging results.
