Implement (How)

The fourth step, Implement, is to determine How you will execute your plan for the partnership. In this step of the process, partnership teams implement the proposed project and consistently evaluate progress toward outcomes. Everyone is working together and invested in the process.

Use the following steps to guide your thinking about how your team will accomplish your established goals.

  • Communication and Collaboration. You have the plan, so now it is time to do the project together with your team. During the project, regular communication, progress tracking, and discussing outcomes within the community partnership team are important.
    • Invite any additional community partners to participate in the team’s selected activities, events, and strategies.
    • Have students send thank-you cards to partners.
    • Share student progress and stories with your partnership team and community.
  • Measure Success, Assess, and Celebrate! Track, evaluate, and communicate your progress toward the outcomes.
    • Is this partnership meeting the designated outcomes and goals?
    • What is working well in the partnership and could be extended to reach more students?
    • Share your partnership success stories with PLTW and on social media channels.
